My name is Ashton (he/they). I am a queer creative and clinical social worker currently living in occupied Omaha land, or as the map reads, Omaha, NE. I utilizes the disciplines of fibers, photography, paint, and sculptural form to create metaphorical, narrative-based pieces. I find art making to have an innate healing quality and love to blend my therapeutic practice with the creative whenever possible. Color has always played a major role in my life and although my wardrobe is typically black, colors draw me in. They are how I like to express my truest self. In 2020, yes in the middle of a pandemic, I completed my Masters in Social Work and was provisionally licensed in the state of Nebraska to practice therapy. I run my own private practice as well as teach creative processes in the community. Feel free to peruse this site for more information and reach out if you would like! I look forward to hearing from you.
